From the outside, the Poung Thong Garden looks no different from any other cottage-style dining establishment, the type favoured by those more interested in drinking than eating. However, once you have found a seat at one of the wooden tables you’ll offered a menu of mouth-watering Thai cuisine and an impressing collection of outstanding Australian red wines at affordable prices.

This open-air restaurant can accommodate 100 guests and is tucked away down Soi Supaphong on the other side of Seacon Square. Beautifully decorated in a Thai country-style, Poung Thong Garden opened its doors five years ago and is operated by a married Thai couple. They transformed their piece of land into a restaurant so they could entertain friends.

Over 100 of Thai meals can be found on the comprehensive menu with dishes ranging from 60 baht to 380 baht. Prices of the imported Australian red wines start at 500 baht while there’s an extensive selection of other alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic drinks available.

You can find the Poung Thong Garden restaurant positioned at 26/42 Soi Supaphong off Srinakarin Road. The restaurant is open daily from 14:30 to 24:00.
